Ready for Spring with Banana Republic
Hey, friends! This week I'm so excited to bring you my latest partnership with one of my long-time favorite brands (I even worked for them when I was in college), Banana Republic. Literally everything I owned from 2009-2015 was Banana and everything under that umbrella. They really make gorgeous and timeless pieces.
With Spring around the corner, I wanted to share some transition outfits I love. As always for transparency, these outfits were gifted to me by the brand, but the opinions and reviews are my very own.
Okay, let's start with the first look. Y'all know I ADORE a pop of color, so for my bottom, I chose these High-Rise Tapered Pants. I'm wearing them in the color Pink Terracotta. Now, these you can size up for a looser fit, but they're a great staple for all seasons. I say that because you can dress these down with a pair of cool sneakers, or you can dress them up with some heels. Super-versatile!
For my top, I'm wearing this gorgeous Mock-Neck Baloon Sleeve Top. Statement sleeves are always a must. For me personally, they elevate the feeling an outfit gives me. I particularly love this top because the style is so flattering, and it comes in an array of colors. You can grab this in black, red, lavender, white, and the print I'm wearing, "Through the grapevine."
Another versatile favorite. This is such a cozy look that can easily be switched up into something more adjusted for warm weather. For my top, I'm wearing the Fitted Ribbed Sweater in Camel. Over the last few weeks, I've thrown this baby on with other pieces. This is a GREAT top that you can pair with a sweet pair of black or blue jeans.
For my bottom, I'm wearing the Denim Utility Midi Skirt. When I think of denim skirts, I think of my mom making me wear itchy blue denim pieces I hated. This is the dream denim skirt. It's in one of my favorite colors, Dark Olive Green, and it fits so well. The quality of this skirt is also incredible. It has a good amount of stretch and thickness without making it heavy. You can also grab this piece in the color "Stone" which is more of a tan color.
For my coat, I'm wearing the Unlined Double-Faced Topcoat in Cream White. For size reference, I'm wearing a petite L. If you like a longer look, you can grab this in regular sizing. I wanted more of a transitional piece so I went with a look that complemented my height (or lack of). This piece is available in Mint Green and Lilac. Both beautiful spring colors. I'm really leaning towards the Lilac because can you imagine pairing this coat in lilac with some bright green pants?! A dream!
In all, these pieces are great quality, versatile, and as I mentioned, Banana pieces last FOREVER when well taken care of, of course. Let me know which look was your fav, and don't forget to check out each piece through the links I've shared, but I'll list them for you one more time.
