WFH in Style
2020 Has been a whirlwind of emotions, events, sweat pants, leggings, Netflix.... need I go on? So I take it VERY seriously when I have the opportunity to dress up for you guessed it, ZOOM. Everyone's current favorite platform. NOT! But still. Who doesn't want the opportunity to dress to the 9's for the camera?
This year I've had the pleasure of working with a few new brands that I adore, and I've had the pleasure of digitally swiping my card for some brands I also love. Let's get into my first current favorite, LEZÉ The Label.
LEZÉ is a sustainable brand founded by Karen and Tanya Lee. You can read all about their ethos and story HERE. They essentially make the MOST comfortable workwear ever. In this post, I'm wearing the Arla Blazer Jacket in black. Get this... It's made out of coffee. I mean not entirely but for the most part, LEZÉ uses sustainable materials to create these gorgeous pieces. What's great about this Blazer is that you can also throw on some stilettos and wear it as a dress. Literally, go from daytime comfort to night time chic with little effort.
I'm also wearing the Gesha Cami in the color Moss. You'll notice those green earth tones are a favorite around here. It's made out of 94% Modal and 6% Recycled Polyester. More deets? Beech trees. Being made from recycled beech trees makes this cami shrink-resistant and keeps you dry. We love an environmentally conscious brand!
I won't link my jeans because they aren't around anymore. However, if you're curious, they're Madewell from a few seasons ago. These shoes though!! Obsessed. I'm wearing the Blog Leather Mules from my new friends at Eileen Fisher. I love me a comfortable mule, and these steal the show. I always gravitate towards black mules. Yes, I own 3 pairs, but these sold me on owning a colored mule. Neutral, but color nonetheless.
Lastly, I know y'all know where these glasses are from. These are from the new DEZI collection by Dezi Perkins. I happened to be fortunate enough to wake up 3 minutes before launch and snag a pair of "On Read" in Classic Tortoise. I've got my eyes (no pun intended) on a few other pairs. Let's be honest, we all basically need a complete set because these are all fire. Oh, and of course my bag is this classic GG Marmont Shoulder bag. I am all about mixing sustainable, affordable, and luxury pieces.
Anyway, I hope this serves as a reminder that your Zoom meetings don't have to be taken in hoodies and sweats. Though I do love me a great set of PJ's than can pass as loungewear. I will also add that getting ready adds a certain pick me up to my day that sometimes I don't actually know I need until I have it.
