Elevating My Office Space With Fully

Hey Friends! Okay, so you may have seen this post a few years ago from my first office remodel. The plants, the pink chair, the bright and airiness of it all. It was incredible. But that was a few years ago, and I feel like I’m in such a different place in my work life, personal life, and business. With that being said, let’s go on a little office refresh adventure.

Before I dive in, please note that I won’t be sharing any of my office images today. Due to shipping delays caused by the pandemic, the last of the things I need are arriving this week (YAY). But in the meantime,  wanted to share the pieces from Fully that I went with and the pieces that I considered while making my office plans.

THE DESK

So my current setup is the Jarvis Bamboo Standing desk. While I do love this desk, I wanted to go for something a little darker. I don’t know how to describe it, but I feel like I pivoted during quarantine, and it allowed me to see my true potential as an entrepreneur and so I feel like my vibe was a little more “grown-up” if you will.

Here’s what I’m getting for my new office…

For my new office, I went with the black-on-black Jarvis hardwood standing desk. I wanted something elegant and dark. I also knew I wanted to try their hardwood desk after having the bamboo desk. Let me tell y’all… IT LOOKS SO GOOD. I cannot wait to show you the big reveal. It’s even better in person and I’m obsessed.

THE CHAIR

Currently, I have the Capisco Puls chair. I LOVE this chair and I knew I wanted a similar style. This chair (and the desk) saved me through my pregnancy and my postpartum journey. We’ll talk about that soon in another post. Since I got this chair a few years ago, Fully has come out with some amazing chairs. I looked through ALL of them forever. Here are some that I considered before making my final decision.

Fully Regeneration Chair

I thought about the ReGeneration chair because of the back. And to be quite honest, though this isn’t the chair that I went with, it’s still on my wish list. For me, the practicality of the way it’s made really sold me. I sometimes hold the baby while working and this feels like it would be a much more secure option as well. BUT, I don’t hold her often during my office hours, so it didn’t make sense to make a decision solely on that. I still want this chair though.

For the same reasons above, I considered the Fully Desk Chair. It’s pretty, simple and it looks so comfortable. But I know myself. You guys know me. I’m extra. Here’s what I went with.

I opted for the Black on Black Premium Leather Capisco Chair. It’s quite different from my first chair, but not really? This one has A lot more cushion. I couldn’t give up the versatility of this chair. Being able to sit on it backward, leaning back, the support it gives. It’s just all too good. This too looks incredible and you’re going to freak out when you see it in the set-up.

What I love about Fully chairs is that they’re mostly customizable. So you can get a pink chair, a tan chair or a black chair like me. But what I love THE MOST is that I didn’t have to sacrifice comfort for my desired aesthetic.

Speaking of chairs, right now Fully has a chair sale that you don’t want to miss. Check it out HERE.

I’ll be sharing the final look for my office, including the new to me Fully accessories that I got in about two weeks. Once everything is FINALLY set up. And listen, I know this is a big investment, but working in a space that is both comfortable and pleasing to be in makes all the difference. You guys have no idea how much this space feels more like ME now. Because of that, I feel like I’m much more motivated to do my thing.

I’ve always worked from home, with the exception of photography. But I know so many of y’all had to pivot to a home office. Working from the dining room isn’t ideal. Now you may not have the space for an entirely separate office like I do. That’s totally okay! Fully offers great options for small space. And if all that’s within your current budget is to upgrade your seat, I highly encourage you to take advantage of their sale.

Let’s take one last look at my bright and bubbly office space.
